Welcome to Canada! Whether you’re a newcomer does not mean you have to wait to become a homeowner. One of the great things about making Canada home! If you have been in Canada for less than three years, have been employed in Canada for a minimum of three months, and have a landed immigrant status, you can qualify for a mortgage
Qualified homebuyers who have immigrated or relocated to Canada within the last 5 years are eligible to purchase a property with as little as a 5% downpayment. Our New to Canada program helps new Canadians purchase their first home sooner, making it easier for these families to become economically established in Canada.
This program provides up to 95% loan-to-value ratio (LTV) for qualified homebuyers. The down payment requirements are based on your status and are as follows: Newcomers with permanent residence status can purchase a home with at least 5% down and non-permanent residents can purchase a property with as little as 10% down. We also provide lending to non-residents, Canadians who are living abroad and non-Canadian citizens that wish to purchase a property with 35% down payment.
If you are new to Canada or living abroad and thinking of purchasing a home in Canada, this is a terrific program to look into before you start the home buying process. You can contact us to learn more about this program and to discuss the options available to you
